Well, well, well Christmas is 3 weeks away! Honestly, I was going to skip Christmas this year. But, I decided that I could use a little cheer right now. Who couldn’t, right? Christmas during COVID is a challenging time for most of us. Here in Western Mass it will look very different for us this year. With my daughter in Texas and my family in South Carolina, I’m super sad not to see them but, at least there’s Zoom. Truth be told, I’m totally sick of Zoom too, but I guess it’s better than nothing. It’s a good thing that we’re lucky enough to live during a time where we can quickly and easily order something online and have it shipped directly to someone we care about!

I recently found this local candle company, not far from me in Easthampton, Massachusetts. They are handmade by women artisans and refugees, so you can feel good knowing they’re coming from a good place and giving jobs to people who need them. Each candle comes with a card about the woman artisan who made it and packaged it. You can also write a message to the person you’re gifting it to as a little card. There are tons of different yummy candle scents and gift sets for every kind of person in your life. Trust me when I tell you that I spent some serious time this past year researching and shopping for candles that SMELL good (not like a cheap air freshener), burn cleanly and look nice! Years ago I gave these slippers to my daughter, C.J. She loved them! And when I tell you that she’s really picky and super sensitive with fabrics I am NOT exaggerating! I gave these fabulously soft slippers to my assistant last year too because I love them, and she loves them! They’re machine washable too! There are lots and lots of different colors and patterns, something for everyone!

This one totally cracks me up! During the quarantine my friends and I have started watching Jeopardy! Yes, we ARE that old! Apparently once you hit 50 you’re allowed to watch Jeopardy every night! LOL And, you can even have a group text with your over 50 friends about it! Seriously though, let me know if you watch Jeopardy and if that makes us old… RIP Alex Trebek 🙁

You can keep track of your weekly winnings and start your mornings off with a little fun. This would make a good gift for someone who loves trivia or just loves Jeopardy!
