5 Things to Add to Your Home for Fall
Make Your Home Cozy and Warm
1. Cozy blankets –
As the weather gets colder, the reason for adding cozy blankets is obvious. But, fuzzy, warm throws also add texture and warmth to your room as well.

2. Textured pillows –
Like cozy blankets and throws, pillows can add texture and that warm feeling to your space as well.
Why not add some fun to your space with fuzzy, fur pillows or some wooly tweed pillows?

3. Pumpkins –
I say pumpkins, not jack o lanterns, because then you’d have to find something else in November, and if you can decorate once now and then not again until the holidays, why not?
There are some really great pumpkins this year. I was just looking at some black, white and red ones online on Grandinroad.com
I’m headed out today to get mine.
4. Mums –
Mums are the quintessential flower for fall.
And with the great variety of colors you can definitely find some that coordinate with your front door or indoor décor.
Hollowing out a pumpkin and using it as a pot is a cute idea too.
5. Something cinnamon and/or apple scented
When it comes to your home décor the smell of your home matters!
Before people even notice what your home looks like they notice the smell.
And for fall, cinnamon and apple evoke the feeling of fall, at least for me.
Some people love the smell of pumpkin.
Here’s where you can pick whatever scent you and your family love.
You can even simmer some apple peel, orange peel and cinnamon sticks on your stovetop to send that scent right through your home.
No excuses now.
Get your home ready for fall.
